Description
The science behind our product: Most skin care products using vitamin A use retinol or retinyl palmitate. The latter has been shown to have minimal effect and the evidence for retinol is weak. Retinal (retinaldehyde) has significantly stronger evidence for effectiveness and is the preferred ingredient for anti-ageing. Retinal can be unstable and therefore needs to be formulated and stored appropriately, including avoiding being formulated with vitamin C, which can cause oxidation. It is also light, air and heat sensitive, so we use opaque bottles which increase shelf life, stability and efficacy.
Active Ingredients: Retinal – the most highly effective form of vitamin A, assisting in reversing and slowing the appearance of skin ageing.
Niacinamide – vitamin B3 anti-oxidant with prove effectiveness in reducing wrinkles, fine lines and improving skin barrier function.
