Our signature Walter Nolan Mulit-Laser Procedure is our most popular rejuvenation treatment because it is tailored to the needs of each patient's skin, and can address brown and red pigmentation, and textural issues.
Research shows that when people are shown photos of study subjects and asked to guess their age, subjects with more skin colour variability are perceived to be older than people with skin that is more consistent in tone. And it makes sense. Skin sustains damage as we move through life, and this often shows in brown pigmented lesions(often sun damage) or red pigmented lesions (broken capillaries or other vascular issues).
So we naturally associated skin without pigmented patches as younger. This is why so many anti-ageing treatments address these discolourations.
The Walter Nolan Multi-Laser Procedure
At Neutral Bay Laser & Dermatology Clinic, we have developed a multi-laser treatment package that addresses this variability in skin tone. These are bespoke laser treatments, tailored to the specific range of issues present on each patient’s skin, and have become our house specialty.
These treatments are named after the founder of our clinic, Dr James Walter, and his long-time associate, Dr Marianne Nolan. Together, Drs Walter and Nolan perfected the Walter Nolan Multi-Laser Procedures and they have become one of our most popular cosmetic treatments.
The Walter Nolan Multi-Laser Procedure (often shortened to WN) can take one of three paths, depending on the specific issues in a patient’s skin.
The WN 2 Procedure uses Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) and pigment lasers to fade down brown spots on the skin.
The WN 3 Procedure uses IPL, pigment laser and vascular laser to fade down brown spots and red blood vessels.
The WN 4 Procedure uses IPL, pigment laser, vascular laser and Erbium laser, to fade down brown spots, red blood vessels and treat seborrhoeic keratoses, or age warts.
